Learn the Warning Signs

A heart attack occurs when the blood flow that brings oxygen to the heart muscle is severely reduced or cut off. Don't wait to get help!

Chest pain, tightness, heaviness or discomfort

It may feel like pressure, squeezing, burning or fullness in the chest. Discomfort may spread to your arms, back, neck, jaw or stomach.

Extreme fatigue

Unusual fatigue that lasts for multiple days can be an indicator of heart trouble.

Shortness of breath with exertion

It becomes hard to breathe, oftentimes for no apparent reason.
