Care Tailored to Your Needs
Our board-certified and fellowship-trained pulmonologists and critical care physicians work together with your primary care provider to bring you back to your highest level of pulmonary heath.
Our goal is to give you the individualized care tailored to meet you and your needs, working together to improve your function and treat diseases of the lung. We provide services to effectively treat many lung conditions, including COPD, asthma, chronic cough, cystic fibrosis and many other conditions.
Leading Technology
Through the use of industry leading technology, diagnosing your condition and the severity of it has become less invasive and more accurate than ever.
Spirometry
A non-invasive test that shows how well your lungs are working. The test measures lung volume and lung capacity to help your doctor better diagnose your condition, whether its obstructive or restrictive and determine the best method of treatment. Our spirometry test is done right in the comfort of the office.
Fractional Exhaled Nitric Oxide (FeNO)
The measurement of fractional exhaled nitric oxide is a non-invasive and simple way to gauge airflow inflammation, helping diagnose patients with asthma as well as measure how effective treatments have been. When airways are inflamed, elevated levels of nitric oxide are released. FeNO testing, performed in-office, quickly and easily detects the level of Nitric Oxide.
Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS
EBUS is used to diagnose different lung disorders, including lung cancer. These ultrasounds are performed solely by a pulmonologist using flexible tubing with a microscopic camera at the end that is carefully guided through your mouth and into your windpipe and lungs. The device is able to take images of your lungs as well as close-by lymph nodes, giving your doctor the ability to take a closer look at your condition.
Is it Time to See a Pulmonologist?
Breathing issues can be serious. When we are unable to breathe well, our quality of life isn't what we want it to be. If you're having trouble breathing, are seeking a diagnosis of a lung condition or for several other reasons, your primary care provider will likely refer you to a pulmonary specialist for the more complex issue.
Leading Reasons to See a Pulmonologist
- Chronic cough that persists more than 3 weeks
- Chest pain or chest tightness
- Difficulty breathing, in particular while exercising
- Fatigue
- Wheezing
- Dizziness
- Recurring bronchitis
- Issues regarding asthma
What to Expect
During your visit, your pulmonologist will perform a thorough exam and recommend additional tests if deemed necessary. Some tests that your physician may order include a spirometry, X-rays, CT scans, blood work, FeNO and/or EBUS.
Your doctor will talk you through the process and work with both you and your primary care provider to determine the best plan of care to address your condition and meet your individual goals.
